The Centennial Grade School held its annual spelling bee Friday, January 24.  Two representatives from each of the 5th grade classes  were winners from their class and competed for the top two positions.  Those two will compete the Woodford County Spelling Bee on February 5th.  The eight participants are Michaela Kelly, Jacqueline Schertz, Jake Funk, Asa Smith, Morgan Render, Lennon Adams, Jordyn Cannon, and Abbie Sparks.  Asa Smith was the overall winner and Jake Funk was the runner-up.

Jefferson Park School will be having a chili supper and open house on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.  The chili supper will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the open house will run from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  We will also have the Scholastic Book Fair available in the gym.

Prices:

Adult meal- $4.00 (chili, hotdog, chips, cookie, drink)

Student meal- $2.50- (same as above)

Individual choices -$2.00- bowl of chili

                           $1.50- hotdog

                           $0.50 each- chips, cookie or drink
