Academics:

WHY?--In an effort to share where our district has been the past few years in regard to standardized test score results, we have compiled this information for our staff, students and community. The following links illustrate our testing history as of the spring of 2009.

COMPARED TO OTHERS--We have also compiled data that includes results from sixteen area school districts in the left column. The school board and teachers union used data from this pool to compare salary schedules and benefits during recent negotiations. We want to use this pool of school districts to compare how our district is performing. If we are to be the destination district that we aspire to be in the Bloomington-Normal area in central Illinois, we must strive to compete in all areas, especially academics. This data was taken from the IIRC website.
In the right column is the comparison data on district performance with the 13 Heart Of Illinois Conference Schools. This is the chart referenced in the El Paso Journal column on Feb. 3rd.
